Track Name: Tomorrow
Our words, they hang in effigy
Waiting for apologies, apologies that’ll never find their way
So we pray into an empty glass
For God to make these feelings pass
Feelings of regret and awful shame

I heard them say: “We own the night!”
But will they still say that tomorrow?
(And) they can say: “We own the night!”
But will we still be here tomorrow?

These morals are as resolute, as that dirty Vegas hotel room
And the dark-haired girl who didn’t know my name
So we cloak ourselves in honesty
Which somehow breeds catastrophe
Catastrophe we were trying to prevent

I heard them say: “We own the night!”
But will they still say that tomorrow?
(And) they can say: “We own the night!”
But will we still be here tomorrow?

We spill into these empty streets
Where I was born and raised, they’re a part of me
But now they’ll never look quite the same
‘Cause our innocence is long since gone
(And) it’s hard to tell where we went wrong
‘Cause no one seems to know who lit the flame

I heard them say: “We own the night!”
But will they still say that tomorrow?
(And) they can say: “We own the night!”
But will we still be here tomorrow?
Track Name: Haymarket
You’re gonna hang for what you’ve done.
This battle can’t be won.
Says he, no more, you and the other four,
Are gonna hang for what you’ve done.

And the rest will rot in jail.
Your train has been derailed
Oh, you eight, are gonna face your fate,
And the rest will rot in jail

Oh you can tie your noose and
you can cloak the truth,
but silence is our bomb.
And you can’t hang us all,
but when we fall,
the world will sing our song.
Oh, sing along. Oh sing along.
Oh sing, the battle rages on.

No, I’m not afraid to die.
For the first time in my life.
Oh my feel will swing,
but my heart shall sing.
No, I’m not afraid to die.

I guess it’s just my time to go.
Please tell my wife that I love her so.
And upon my grave, black flags will wave.
I guess it’s just my time to go.

Oh you can tie your noose
and you can cloak the truth,
but silence is our bomb.
And you can’t hang us all,
but when we fall,
the world will sing our song.
Oh, sing along. Oh sing along.
Oh sing, the battle rages on.

And upon my grave, black flags will wave.
I guess it’s just my time to go.
Track Name: 1,000 Horses
My limbs are tired, but my feet they keep me moving forward
My eyes are drooping, but they don’t need to see
I’ve got no directions, no Mapquest, no GPS
Dark is the hour, but she’s the light that guides me

I’ve tried, for time, casualty of a working life
Just want to make sure she knows…

The force of a thousand horses,
couldn’t keep me away from here
(My) heart beats like a thousand horses,
with every step that brings me nearer
I’m coming home… just tell my baby I’m coming home
Please tell my baby I’m coming

I called her up to tell her that I’d be home in a little while
Two hours later, the cursor still blinks away
Dinnertime has come and gone, so too has the late-late show
I’m still awake, but my world is fast asleep

I’ve tried, for time, casualty of an Idol life
Just want to make sure she knows…

The force of a thousand horses,
couldn’t keep me away from here
(My) heart beats like a thousand horses,
with every step that brings me nearer
I’m coming home… just tell my baby I’m coming home
Please tell my baby I’m coming

Images of future plans keep running through my sleepless mind
Dreams that dangle on strings just out of reach
The sands of time are running dry, and the clocks tick tock as days go by
So I count the hours, minutes, seconds she’s with me

I’ve tried, for time, casualty of an idle life
Just want to make sure she knows…

The force of a thousand horses,
couldn’t keep me away from here
(My) heart beats like a thousand horses,
with every step that brings me nearer
I’m coming home… just tell my baby I’m coming home
Please tell my baby I’m coming
Track Name: No Way To Live
Yesterday, I met a boy, musta been about three or four.
His mother disappeared in yet another civil war.
The war is far from done and the boy don’t stand a chance.
He’ll probably be raised with a rifle in his hands.

HIs eyes, they said “don’t cry for me.
No, don’t cry for me.
I don’t want your pity, I don’t want your shame.
Your thoughts and prayers don’t get rid of my pain.
No, don’t cry me.”

Today I met a man, a ragged refugee.
Who used to own some land, a couple dozen olive trees.
Well, he’s all out of hope and his rocks don’t stand a chance,
Against the bulldozers and tanks that have razed the Promised Land.

HIs eyes, they said “don’t cry for me.
No, don’t cry for me.
I don’t want your pity, I don’t want your shame.
Your thoughts and prayers don’t get rid of my pain.
No, don’t cry me.”

They asked me why God didn’t choose them.
They asked me why God didn’t care.
They asked me if it’s a battle worth losing.
They asked me if they said the wrong prayers.

With a blank stare, I don’t have the answers.
A blank stare was all could give.
A blank stare, well that don’t ask the right questions.
A blank stare, that ain’t no way to live.
Track Name: Annabel Lee
I once loved a girl named Annabel Lee.
Aweigh, hey, away.
Until my captain called me to sea.
Aweigh, hey, away for me.

She called me a bastard and spat in my face.
Aweigh, hey, away.
Cause I told her I loved her and be back here someday.
Aweigh, hey, away for me.

With many young women, oh, I have been.
Aweigh, hey, away.
But none stole my heart like Annabel Lee.
Aweigh, hey, away for me.
Track Name: The Devil Is My DJ
Whiskey and triple gin, got me in a mess again
When the jukebox ran out of my tunes
So went down to the Village Greene,
Where I could feel the grass beneath my feet
As I sang at the top of my lungs
All the songs I thought should be sung

I sampled American Pie, paid homage to Sweet Caroline
And took Rosie down old Thunder Road
Thought of that Sweet Child O' Mine, as I belted Drunken Lullabies
And the prayer that we're livin' on.
And the songs, flowed one into the next

So raise your voices: oh-a-oh, oh-a-oh
And tip you glasses: lie, lie-la-lie
Shout from the rooftops: na, na-na, na na na
Oh-a-oh, lie-la-lie la-lie

The police, they came rushing in,
with their nightsticks and testosterone,
and told me to hush up and hurry home.
But I borrowed from NWA, said “Fuck the Police” in their face
then rightly, they silenced me.
And the night for me it was done.

I woke up in a lonely cell, where solitude is worse than hell
So I gave the Devil his due

(And) I sold my soul for a sturdy beat, and lyrics that could carry me
Way back to happier days
Back to when we all the sang refrains

So he summoned the Piano Man, lit me up a cigarette
And poured Whiskey in the Jar
And as the ants came marchin' in, a Tiny Dancer gave a grin
Before she Shook Me All Night Long
As we sang, the songs that should be sung

So raise your voices: oh-a-oh, oh-a-oh
And tip you glasses: lie, lie-la-lie
Shout from the rooftops: na, na-na, na na na
Oh-e-oh, lie-la-lie la-lie (2x)

As the sun it came shinin’ in, the Devil came to collect
The soul I had promised him
But I told him he was far too late, cause I sold it back in ‘98
For a Brown-Eyed Girl named Sue
But that Devil, I think, already knew
Yeah that Devil, think he already knew

So raise your voices: oh-a-oh, oh-a-oh
And tip you glasses: lie lie-la-lie
Shout from the rooftops: na, na-na, na-na-na
Oh-a-oh, lie-la-lie la-lie (3x)
Track Name: By The Grace Of God
I don’t wanna leave, but I gotta do what’s right.
I gotta find away to support my kids and wife.
A skip across the pond and I land in New York Bay.
By the grace of God, I’ll find another way.

Up off the boat and onto the dock,
I’m marching into war, it’s a race against the clock
I’m praying to the rosary to get me throught the day.
By the grace of God, I’ll find another way.

Walking down the street with my head held high,
Until I saw the sign that said, “No Irish Need Apply”.
It’s hard then I thought, it’s tougher than they say.
By the grace of God, I’ll find another way.

I came to America, the land of the free
To find a better life and support my family.
But all I found was misery, blue skies have turned to gray.
By the grace of God, I’ll find another way.

America, where have you been.
You’ll pay for all their sins.
So far, we’ve weathered the attack.
Now it’s time to take your country…
Back, back (whoa oh)
Back, back, back (whoa-ay oh)
Back, back, back (whoa oh)
Now it’s time to take your country back

Four years of college and an engineer degree,
I went to school so I’d have opportunity.
But now I work at Kelly’s Pub and I’m still waiting for a raise.
By the grace of God, I’ll find another way.

But I don’t blame the foreigners for trying to survive.
They’re just like our ancestors who struggled to get by.
I blame the greedy bastards, robber barons of today.
By the grace of God, I’ll find another way.

America, where have you been.
You’ll pay for all their sins.
So far, we’ve weathered the attack.
Now it’s time to take your country…
Back, back (whoa oh)
Back, back, back (whoa-ay oh)
Back, back, back (whoa oh)
Now it’s time to take your country back

Republicans and Democrats, you both have got it wrong.
It takes much more than politics to sing your freedom song.
Business as usual will lead us to our graves.
By the grace of God, I’ll find another way.

Building up the wall but not protecting main street
Is like “cuttin’ one’s throat to cure a nosebleed.”
As the sun comes up, I see the ghost of Jesse James
By the grace of God, I’ll find another way.

America, where have you been.
You’ll pay for all their sins.
So far, we’ve weathered the attack.
Now it’s time to take your country…
Back, back (whoa oh)
Back, back, back (whoa-ay oh)
Back, back, back (whoa oh)
Now it’s time to take your country back
Track Name: We Are...
We are the voices that inspired generations.
Spoke of peace, and spoke of frustration.
We sang of freedom - and what it’d be like to be “Home.”
Now our words, they echo through these walls of white
Down Finglas, and to the pubs where rallies cry
Through the rafters and across the channels of tyranny.

‘Cause we are the lovers, we are the righteous,
we are the revolutionary fighters.
We are the ones, who tried to change the world,
and we are not content.

The one who started was pure, he was innocent
Those who followed weren’t guilty, they were patriots
Who fought with - the strength of their tonsils and their feet.
Our ideas, they bound us to this hallowed land
Incited riots and the debates that we championed.
They left our brethren wondering if we’d ever cease.

‘Cause we are the lovers, we are the righteous,
we are the revolutionary fighters.
We are the ones, who tried to change the world,
and we are not content.

We are the ambushed, but also the assassins
Though it was our pens that made all this happen
And in these pages, “ourselves alone” now ruminates.
Critics said, we should’ve let the pieces fall,
Just bowed our heads, and forget all the things we saw.
But this is a mission - not suited for a rosary.

‘Cause we are the lovers, we are the righteous,
we are the revolutionary fighters.
We are the ones, who tried to change the world,
and we are not content. (2x)
Track Name: Change In The Wind
Sunday morning in the village of the damned,
The bells are gonna toll down in Birmingham.
A bomb rings out just a little of after ten,
Blood stained walls in the Promised Land.

Four little girls can’t come out to play,
Denise, Carol, Cynthia, and Addie Mae.
Innocence lost, even the churches aren’t safe
All because a white man came up with a plan.
He didn’t want the black man to try to get ahead.

Uncle Tom ain’t doin much.
400 years is long enough.
Tear down the walls that divide us.
A change is gonna come and it’s blowing in the wind.
But someone forgot to tell the politicians.

December 4th, in the middle of the night,
Chicago’s finest and the FBI,
Burst through the door in the pale moonlight,
While Freddy lay asleep with his soon to wife.

Shot like a dog while asleep in bed.
Once in the shoulder and twice in the head.
Now a son grows up and he’ll never meet his dad.
All because a white man came up with a plan.
He didn’t want the black man to try get ahead.

Uncle Tom ain’t doin much.
400 years is long enough.
Tear down the walls that divide us.
A change is gonna come and it’s blowing in the wind.
But someone forgot to tell the politicians.

You bleed for your country in Vietnam,
but don’t bleed at home for your fellow man.

We’ve had enough of this.
Track Name: Won't Back Down
At the end of a lost city’s highway,
it’s hard to tell where we went wrong
Bad decisions seem to resonate.
Lost in the sands of time,
we swallowed all our helpless tears
And our pride was not far behind

Tear it down, to build it up again
Higher than before
Find a way, to start over again
Stronger than before

We won’t back down (2x)

We read it in the papers,
and see it on the TV screen
That the world is changing now.
Seems like the sky is falling,
feels like the walls are caving in
Take a shovel, and hand me my hammer now.

Tear it down, to build it up again
Higher than before
Find a way, to start over again
Stronger than before

We won’t back down (2x)

Even though our words fell silent,
our thoughts were restless in our minds
Seeing things through somber eyes.
Seems like the sky is falling,
feels like the walls are caving in
Take a shovel, and hand me my hammer now.

Tear it down, to build it up again
Higher than before
Find a way, to start over again
Stronger than before

We won’t back down (2x)
Track Name: One More Song
One more song Daddy, one more song,
sing me one more song tonight.
I’ll keep singing and I won’t stop singing until you feel alright.
Sweet dreams and melodies will get you through the night.
Sing, one more song.

Keep on smiling Tyler, keep on smiling, make me laugh again today.
Don’t stop laughing, no don’t stop laughing, let’s play another game.
Sweet songs and memories will get me through the day.
Sing, one more song.

There could come a day,
But it don’t have to be that way,
‘Cause I will always sing you one more song.
One more song.

Don’t grow up buddy, don’t grow up, keep making that funny face.
Keep making Addie laugh and dancing all over the place.
At some point, we all get old, but that don’t have to be today.
Sing, one more song.

There could come a day,
But it don’t have to be that way,
‘Cause I will always sing you one more song.
One more song.
I will always sing you one more song.
One more song.
